Silly boy

Will is turning into such a little ham. These are just two of the many ways he finds to entertain himself and everyone around him!!

Mmmm, milk

In anticipation of having to go back to work, we've started giving Morgan one bottle a day so she'll get used to taking a bottle. This particular day you would have thought we added a little liquor to her bottle the way she's passed out!

Our little helper

Earlier this week as I was cleaning the house I heard a squeal coming from the kitchen. When I walked in I found Will giggling away as he was pushing around my swiffer and cleaning the floor for me. He was having so much fun and really thought he was big stuff. That same day I was getting ready to give Morgan a bath and found Will in her bathtub playing.

Friends and Family...

We've had lots of friends come over to see Morgan and I've tried to get a picture of everyone so I thought I'd share! Thanks to everyone who has stopped by and for all the meals and presents!!

Go Bananas

My mom was in town last week to help me with the kids and after a few days we decided we needed to get out of the house. We met my sister and her kids at a new place in town called Bananas. It has all these huge blow-up slides and mazes and things for the kids to climb. Will was a little nervous at first but then he loosened up and loved it. Kailyn and Nathan each took him down the slide and Alex showed him how to climb on some of the animals in the little kids section! It was a great way for them to burn off some energy and it gave me some exercise too :) There are more pictures in the Carson Family Album - just click the link on the right.

Waking up...

Well little miss Morgan is a little over a week old now and she's starting to have some really alert spells. She's already got quite the personality and will let you know when she's not happy but for the most part she is a really happy, easy baby. One of the pictures is right before her bath when she was nice and peaceful....that changed quickly once we starting giving her the bath!! In the last picture her big cousin Kailyn is holding her. She just loves her to death and would hold her all day if we let her! :)

Busy boy

I've been a little behind posting lately so I thought I'd do kind of a random post of things Will has been up to lately. These three pictures are from about 2 weeks ago when it was in the 60's. We decided to take him out and let him play with both of his new cars!

We had a "blizzard" over the weekend and got about 10 inches of snow. It's the first time the snow has stuck around long enough for us to take Will out and he loved it. He got the sunglasses from a friend of ours and thought he was pretty cool with them on. I ended up taking more video than pictures so once I figure out how to post video's I'll put a clip on of him giggling and diving into the snow!

My mom is in town this week helping me out with Will and Morgan so we decided to take Will to get his haircut. We took him to Cookie Cutters and they did a great job. They have really neat little cars for the kids to sit in and then they play cartoons to help keep the kids entertained. Will did a great job and looked so cute getting it done that I couldn't resist taking a picture :)

Introducing...

Morgan Elizabeth Carson :)

Mitch and I went into the hospital on Friday night to start the induction. The labor went pretty smoothly all night and morning and the Dr. checked on us about 8am and said that Morgan was coming out with a "facial presentation." Apparently she did not have her head tucked the way it was supposed to be so they were concerned and told us a C-section might have to be performed. Luckily everything worked out and Morgan was born at 11:41am Saturday morning weighing in at a whopping 9 lbs 4 oz and was 20 1/2 inches. Since she didn't have her head tucked all the way she took a bit of a beating and was pretty swollen on the right side of her face. All in all, everything went great though and we are so happy to have our little girl home. Her big brother is still adjusting a little bit but as you can see from the last picture he is starting to enjoy giving her kisses :) (You can see more photos from the hospital and the first few days home if you click on the Carson Web Albums)
